Upon arrival, the city tour includes visit the warm and charming Columbus Monument, drive by the elegant tree-lined Ramblas, Plaza de Cataluna. Noticed the Olympic stadium where 1992 Olympic Games have been held. Go to the famous Monjuich Hill for panoramic view of Barcelona Harbour and overlooking the city views. Exterior View of the Sagrada Familia, which is a large Roman Catholic Church in Barcelona. The Church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We leave Barcelona for Spain's 3rd largest city, Valencia. Valencia’s history has celebrated as the gateway to the Mediterranean. It is commercial and culturally rich; with Moorish Culture, Arab customs and food all frequented in a cultural exchange. The economic trade reform jump started Valencia to enjoy the prosperity and glory that other cities did not achieve. Although today's Valencia is less prominent, still commerce through large exhibitions is still important to the city and Trade Fairs are held throughout the year. Upon arrival, we will tour
the old city municipal Square, the old city gate and Valencia Cathedral (entrance included), where an exact copy of the Holy Grail is on permanent display. Continue our drive to Alicante for overnight stay.
This morning we depart for the city of Granada on the plateau of the Andalusia province. This historic city has been occupied by the Arab Dynasty rule in the Iberian Peninsula for the last 800 years. Visit the ruins of civilization and culture, "Alhambra", also known as the Red Palace (entrance included). Upon arrival, the Moorish legacy becomes apparent immediately. Generally referred to as the "Golden Age" of construction and delicate structure, the dome shape is both stunning and admirable. Back to the coach and proceed to the Sunny Coast area (Costa del Sol) and arrive in the largest city along the coast of Malaga. This city is the birthplace of the famous Spanish Painter, Pablo Picasso. The Costa del Sol is also famous for its golden sandy beaches, secluded villas.
This morning, we go North-West direction to the soul of the city of Seville Andalusia region. This city was the capital of the Muslim dynasty. This 4th largest city and hosted the World's Fair in 1992. Upon arrival, visit the
16th century Cathedral halls dedicated Royal Chapel, the burial place of the King's mausoleum for over a century; also the tomb of Christopher Columbus who discovered the New World as a credit to the great navigator. From there onwards we see the Alcazar Castle once a Muslim palace and the Spanish Royal Palace; this palace was built in 1987 and is currently included by the United Nations as a world cultural heritage site. Then we walk through the Santa Croce Gold Tower and Mary Luisa Park where the 1992 World Expo is located. In the Spain Square we can admire a crafted porcelain painting, detailing the history and elegance of old Spain. Continue our drive along enchanting coastline to Portugal, pass by Algarve which is one of the popular tourist resorts which draws more to the superb beaches.
In the morning we depart northwards to Lisbon. Lisbon, the western most point of continental Europe displays the voluminous Atlantic Ocean surrounded by endless scenery. Don’t forget to buy the remembrance certificate to prove once footstep on the west point as it will be a memorable souvenir to keep. Lisbon is Portugal’s symbol to its adventurous and pioneering past, crossing the seas in discovery of the new world. Those interested can sample authentic Portuguese custard tarts at the century-old bakery. Enroute, you will see scenic picturesque of vineyards, olive trees. Upon arrival into Lisbon, city tour begins. Tour of River Tagus- monument to the Discoveries Ponte 25 de Abril – Tower of Belem- Jeronimos Monastery – Rosso Square – Marques de Pombal Square.
We drive back to Spain capital city Madrid. Enroute, via Toledo – spectacular city situated on a granite hill surrounded by Tagus River. Exterior view of the 13th Century Gothic Cathedral. Continue our drive to Madrid.
This morning, Madrid city tour includes the monument of Plaza de Espana, Plaza de Colon, Opera Palace, Paseo de Prado and Castellana, Royal Palace (entrance included), Fuente de la Cibeles and Puerta de Alcala. After lunch, free time in the afternoon for shopping at El Corte Ingles. Get your Original branded products of Mango, Prada, Massimo Dutti and the list goes on. This evening, be entertained by Flamenco Show.
After breakfast, drive through the scenic Jalon Gorge, which reminisces Western movies cowboy country to Zaragoza. Exterior view of the Basilica - Cathedral of our Lady of the Pillar, where the Virgin Mary appeared. Continue our drive to Barcelona. Drive past Columbus Monument, LAS RAMBLAS is a street in Central Barcelona. Take a panoramic and spectacular view of the city and harbour from Montjuic Hill. Marvelled at the Nouveau style buildings like Casa Batilo and Casa Mila.
After breakfast, there is still time for your last minute shopping before transfer to the Airport for your flight back home
