    Visit the traditional villages. Head to Udaipur through beautiful landscapes of the Mewar Mountains. Check in to the hotel. If you would like to attend a procession in a Hindu temple, visit to the Jagdish temple around 8 pm is suggested. Night in the hotel.
    Day 12: Udaipur
    Visit Udaipur, the “Venice of the East” around the Lake Pichola and surrounded by peaks of Aravalli range. A boat ride on Lake Pichola is worth the experience. Visit the City Palace and the commercial lanes. Overnight at the hotel.
    Day 13: Udaipur – Chittorgarh, Deogarh OR Sardargarh (depending on your choice of hotel) [110 Km –3 hours drive]
    Depending on the stage: Udaipur– Chittorgarh: drive in the direction of Chittorgarh, the ancient capital of the Mewar kingdom. Visit the enormous fortress and its ramparts. Night in the hotel. Udaipur– Deogarh or Sardargarh: drive north and visit the temples of Nagda, Eklingii and Nathdwara, before taking a small mountain road to visit the huge fortress of Kumbhalgarh.     During the day, visit the Calico Museum, dedicated to textile art and located in an exquisitely beautiful haveli. Towards the end of the day, visit the Sabarmati Ashram, founded by Gandhi in the early part of the 19th century and from where he set off on his long Salt Satyagraha.     Day 7: Ahmedabad - Dasada
    You set off by road for Dasada, the gateway to the Little Rann of Kutch, a vast stretch of salines and pastures, constituting a unique ecosystem. Check in at the hotel. Excursion to Dasada and the surrounding villages in order to meet with local tribes, known as Adivasis, either sedentary or nomadic tribes. Night in the hotel.[90 Km - 2 H 30]
    Day 8: Dasada
    A day devoted to the exploration of the forest reserve where you can sight rare animal species, especially the onager (Wild Asian Ass) and a number of other animals: antelopes, nilgais, wolves, migratory birds such as demoiselle cranes, pelicans, greater flamingoes. The grassy islands, a food haven in this salty expanse, can be as tall as 3 m. Night in the hotel.
    Day 9: Dasada - Mount Abu
    You set off by road to Mount Abu, a borough perched at 1200 m altitude on a plateau of the Aravelli hills in Rajasthan. On the way, you will stop at Modhera for visiting the splendid Surya Temple, dedicated to the Sun God. You then continue by road to Patan, which prides itself on housing one of the most beautiful step wells of Gujarat, the Baoli of the Rani. Arrival at Mount Abu by the end of the day.     Rest. Visit the marvellous white marble Dilwara Temples, a centre for pilgrimage in Jainism. A walk around the Nakki Lake and sun set at the Sunset Point 15 minutes away from the lake walk. Night in the hotel.

    We continue our excursion to an area in the wilderness that borders paradisiacal, named « Elephant Valley », that boasts an eco-lodge surrounded by jungle, coffee plantations, waterfalls, traditional villages and wild animals, the most famous being the elephant.     Day 6: Elephant Valley (Kodaikanal) - Periyar [120 Km - 3 / 4 H drive]
    We drive through the mountainous region of the Western Ghats until we arrive at Periyar National Park. Explore the park and spend the night in hotel.
    Day 7: Periyar - Spice Plantations [90 Km - 2 H drive]
    Drive through the region known for its spice plantations and allow its lush vegetation and breathtaking landscapes to hypnotise you. Admire the rice paddies and coconut trees. Check in to a hotel at the heart of the Kerala countryside. Night in hotel.
    Day 8: Spice Plantations - "Backwaters" [60 Km - 1 H de route]
    Head along the shore of Lake Vembanad, located in the middle of Palai Plain with its hypnotizing rice paddies and coconut trees in plain view and pleasant villages. Night in hotel.
    Day 9: "Houseboat" on the "Backwaters"
    We are welcomed by the crew, made up of the captain, cook, and the “ship boy” and then we set off on this traditional “House - Boat” while navigating through the canals, lagoons, and lakes. On the banks, you will come across old houses made out of teak, mahogany and redwood as well as villages filled with hibiscus and bougainvilleas, rice paddies that are green and shimmering.
