Assemble at Changi Airport for our flight to Copenhagen, Denmark’s fun loving capital.
Copenhagen - Roskilde (L)
Travel to Roskilde, an ancient city dating from the Viking age. Visit the Viking Ship Museum, home to the wrecks of five original Viking ships excavated in the Roskilde Fjord. Next, visit the Roskilde Cathedral, a UNESCO Heritage Site. This is where Danish Kings and queens have been buried for a thousand years. (Note: Limited access during ceremonies)
Copenhagen guided tour: Our sightseeing tour features the Old Stock Exchange, the National Museum and the Rosenborg, Amalienborg & Christianborg Palaces. Make a photo stop at the famous Little Mermaid Statue & Hans Christian Andersen Statue before we proceed to Nyhavn, the old sailors’ quarters converted into colourful cafes, bars & jazz clubs. Spend some free time in the afternoon at Stroget, the famous pedestrian street.
Copenhagen - Overnight Cruise (B/D)
Enjoy some free time at leisure.
Transfer to the ferry terminal for our overnight cruise to Oslo, the capital of Norway.
Enjoy a guided tour of Oslo. Stroll through Vigeland Sculpture Park with its extraordinary bronze and granite life size sculptures.
Make a photo stop at the venue of 2011 Nordic Skiing World Championships, the Holmenkollen Ski Jump for a spectacular view of the Oslofjord.
Oslo - Geilo - Hardangerfjord (B/D)
Board our coach for a journey of forests and lakes to the Hallindal Valley. Arrive at Geilo, a small town surrounded by mountains and famous for its ski runs for a short stop. Photo stop at Voringvoss. Cross the splendid Hardangerfjord, the widest in Norway.
Hardangerfjord - Bergen (B/D)
We make our way to Bergen, the Gateway to the Fjords. Bergen walking tour : Spend time walking along the Bryggen, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, enjoy views of the 13th century Haakons Hall and the bustling Fish Market, the largest in Scandinavia.
Bergen - Flam - Sognefjord (B/D)
Travel to Myrdal where we board the renowned Flam Railway to Flam. Witness some of the world’s most scenic wilderness as we ascend 3000 feet, passing through mighty waterfalls, towering mountains and amazing valleys. Embark on a memorable two-hour fjord cruise on the Sognefjord, Norway’s longest and deepest fjord.
Sognefjord - Geiranger (B/D)
Head into the depth of the Norwegian Fjordland, a wonderful world of soaring mountains, icy glaciers and rivers. Make a photo stop at the Jostedal Glacier National Park. Spend the night in Geiranger, a remote village with a superb setting overlooking the Geiranger Fjords and mountains, which has been granted UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Geiranger - Lillehammer - Karlstad (B/D)
Drive down the famous Serpentine Road on our way to Lom where we stop to view its renowned 14th century Stave Church. Continue through Gudbrandsdal Valley to Lillehammer, home to the 1994 Winter Olympics. Stop at the Olympic Resort for panoramic views of Lake Mjosa, the biggest in Norway. Cross the border into Karlstad, Sweden, beside Europe’s largest freshwater lake, Lake Vanern, for the night.
Karlstad - Stockholm (B/D)
Drive to Stockholm, the capital of Stockholm which owes its beauty to its unique setting on fourteen islands between Lake Malar and the Baltic. Stockholm guided city tour: Visit the City Hall where the Nobel Prize banquets are held in the Blue and Gold Halls (entrance included) and the 700 year-old Cathedral. Stroll through the Gamla Stan to bask in the medieval atmosphere of the old town. Make a photo stop at the world’s biggest Royal Palace still used by a head of state.
Stockholm - Overnight Cruise (B/D)
Enjoy some leisure time before we board our luxurious overnight cruise and sail pass the Swedish archipelagos to Helsinki, Finland.
Helsinki - Singapore (B/L)
Helsinki orientation tour: See the Neo-Classical Senate Square and the green cupolas and white columns of the Helsinki Cathedral. Enjoy the colourful Market Square with its hustle & Bustle and its appetizing smells. Visit the extraordinary Temppeliaukio Church, a sunken, circular church built into solid granite (may close at short notice). See the Finlandia Hall, a fine example of Finnish architecture faced with marble and granite before stopping at the Sibelius Monument.
Bid farewell to Scandinavia as we transfer to the airport for our flight back to Singapore.
