  • Day 1: Singapore - Fukuoka - Nagasaki (MOB/D)
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Fukuoka, a vibrant yet compact city in western Japan and the gateway to Kyushu for many travellers. Upon arrival, make your way to Huis Ten Bosch, a theme park bearing a distinctive Dutch theme, from its orderly European-style architecture – windmills, canals and manicured parks – that align into charming streetscapes. It is a piece of Europe in Japan and an ode to the astonishing forces of globalisation. Tonight, after a sumptuous buffet dinner, ascend the 333-metre high Mt. Inasa by ropeway and enjoy an aerial perspective of the spectacular night views of Nagasaki.
Day 2: Nagasaki - Kumamoto (B/Nagasaki Sara Udon Set Lunch)
After breakfast, enjoy a morning stroll through Glover Garden, located on a hilltop overlooking Nagasaki port. It features 9 western-style residences of European families who settled in Nagasaki in the 19th century, and includes features such as Glover House, Madame Butterfly statue and landscaped gardens. For lunch, tuck into a Nagasaki Sara udon set lunch, a signature speciality that comprises noodles topped with vegetables and bits of meat. After lunch, visit Nagasaki Peace Park, which commemorates the atomic explosion on 9 August 1945 that contributed to the end of the Pacific War. Within the park, you will find Peace Statue and Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, the latter housing preserved evidence of the atomic blast. Thereafter, hop onboard a ferry to Kumamoto. 1st stop: a jaunt to the city’s foremost attraction, Kumamoto Castle, which is reputed – and deservingly so – as one of the 3 most famous castles in Japan. In the late afternoon, navigate the streets of Kamitori and Shimotori, major shopping belts in downtown Kumamoto and flex those credit cards. Seasonal Bonus: Enjoy Japan’s largest foot spa facility featuring different types of steamers, water cooling stones and assorted foot spas.
Day 3: Kumamoto - Kagoshima - Ibusuki (B/Set Dinner With Kurobuta Shabu Shabu)
This morning, take a leisure drive to Kagoshima. Endowed with a chain of active and dormant volcanoes, this prefecture is renowned for its hot springs. Catch a glimpse of the active volcano Sakurajima Island, before making a stop at the 300-year-old Suizenji Park, which is a picturesque, meticulously landscaped garden offering a microcosm of Japan’s landscape, including a botanical representation of Mt. Fuji. The park is most beautiful in spring and autumn. Next, time for a bit of cultural education. Take a voyage back in time at Amaminosato, a facility that features visual displays of the region’s natural environment and culture. Learn more about the history and evolution of kimonos. Next, go on a shopping spree along Tenmonkan, the largest downtown shopping district in Kagoshima before rounding up the day in Ibusuki, a famous resort area located on the tip of the Satsuma peninsula. This evening, enjoy a delicious set dinner with Kurobuta shabu shabu that features premium, melt-in-the-mouth Kurobuta pork before donning a traditional yukata to experience a unique hot sand bath at an Ibusuki onsen resort, a suitably relaxing full stop for a day well spent.
    Day 4: Ibusuki - Mt. Aso (B/Kumamoto Ramen Lunch/ D)
After breakfast, proceed for a unique journey up Mt. Aso, Japan’s largest active volcano, to enjoy a magnificent view via Mt. Aso Ropeway, which enjoys the distinction of being the world’s 1st ropeway to be built on an active volcano. Thereafter, take a drive along Mt. Aso Nakadake Crater and see the green plains of Kusasenri. In sharp contrast to the desolate scene around the crater, you will find a tranquil scene of cattle and horses grazing on grassy pastures. End the day with a visit to ASO Farm Land, a full-scale health facility that will rejuvenate body and soul. Come face to face with animals such as adorable, furry alpacas and flamingos. Spend the night at an onsen resort in the Mt. Aso region.
Day 5: Mt. Aso - Oita - Beppu (B/L/Sashimi Kaiseki Dinner)
Today, take a morning walk on the Kokonoe “Yume” Grand Suspension Bridge to take in sights of the surrounds that offers a bird’s eye view of unspoilt nature’s splendour before making your way to Beppu. Your journey will, quite literally, reach a boiling point as you make a jaunt to the renowned Beppu Jigoku Meguri. Visit Chinoike-jigoku, a bubbling pond of boiling crimson water and Umi-jigoku, a pond of boiling blue water. Not quite Dante’s inferno, but one that will leave an impression nonetheless. This evening, pamper yourself with a traditional hot spring bath at an onsen resort in Beppu.
    Day 6: Beppu - Fukuoka (B)
On your journey back to Fukuoka, make a stop at Kitsuki Castle Town to visit rustic samurai houses and experience an immersive, all-authentic journey back to the days where samurais reigned supreme. Thereafter, rev up and embark on a shopping spree at Tosu Premium Outlets. Next, visit Dazaifu Tenmangu, a famous shrine enveloped with 6,000 plum trees. If time permits, visit the shopping and entertainment hotspot Canal City Hakata, creatively designed with vivid colours. This complex is a miniaturised city within a city, with everything from a movie theatre and amusement park to restaurants and shops.
    Day 7: Fukuoka - Singapore (B/MOB)
If time permits, you can do some last-minute shopping before you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
