Thereafter, it is a short drive to Angas Park Fruits to try their delicious range of dried fruits. Enjoy wine tasting at some of the family owned and operated Barossa wineries, including Jacob’s Creek, Wolf Blass, Peter Lehmann and Yalumba, and discover more about the winemaking process. Some wineries, such as Penfolds, allow visitors to ‘blend their own’ wine and take it home in a souvenir bottle. Make a brief stop at Whispering Wall and Mengler’s Hill lookout before heading to McLaren Vale. Visit the Almond Train for almonds of every flavour and Medlow Confectionery for something sweet. Continue on to Victor Harbour and travel on Australia's oldest horse-drawn tram along the causeway to Granite Island. Visit the penguin centre and at dusk join a guided tour to see these little penguins returning to their burrows after a day's fishing. During June to September, Southern Right Whales can also be spotted close to shore along Victor Harbour.Day 3: Victor Harbour - Cape Jervis (50min) - Pennshaw (Ferry Crossing 45min) - Kangaroo IslandTake a scenic drive from Victor Harbour to Cape Jervis and board SeaLink vehicle and passenger ferry for a 45-minute crossing to Kangaroo Island, the third largest island in Australia and seven times the size of Singapore. Once you have landed at Penneshaw, drive to Seal Bay Conservation Park on the southern coast where you can have an experience of a lifetime walking among a breeding colony of Australian Sea Lions. Head to Little Sahara, an area of spectacular white sand dunes, surrounded by bush vegetation. Take your sandboard and climb to the top of the razorback ridges and enjoy a thrilling ride to the bottom (sandboards and toboggans are available for hire from Kangaroo Island Outdoor Action at Vivonne Bay). Next, visit the dramatic coastal formations of Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch in Flinders Chase National Park. Remarkable Rocks provides a spectacular backdrop for photographers and Admiral's Arch boardwalk leads to a rugged cliff face to confront a spectacular rock arch and a nursery haven for New Zealand Fur Seals.Day 4: Kangaroo IslandThis morning, drive through the centre of the island. Don't miss sampling the unique gastronomic experience at Andermel Marron and Two Wheeler Creek Wines. Complete the meal with a fine wine, made from grapes grown on the farm's vineyard. You may like to join a one-hour, half or full-day excursion from Kingscote with Kangaroo Island Marine Tours. Go snorkelling with seals, sea lions and dolphins. Soak up the fun and meet the marine life on the comfortable, purpose-built craft.
