Surrounded by the Appenine Mountain chain, it lies in a fertile valley surrounded by the charming Tuscan vineyards and olive groves. Visit the St. Mark's Basilica with its marble and mosaics and the Ducal Palace where the old Republic of Venice exercised their political and commercial powers in the Doge Palace. Cross the Bridge of Sighs arriving at the famous Venice Jail. Finishing off the tour is the opportunity to visit the glass factory on the island of Murano (The visit to Murano is optional and not included in the walking tour).     Day 5: Venice - Milan (B)

    Day 7: Sorrento - Capri - Naples - Rome (B)
    Set sail to Isle of Capri – the Island of Dreams and enjoy the fascinating voyage along the Sorrento coast. Dock at the Marina Grande and head inland to the island's two main towns, Capri and Anacapri. Wander around the medieval style cobblestone streets and venture unto the charming shops full of local crafts and products. Explore the main square, Piazza Umberot, the views of the limestone Faraglioni. At the end of the tour, return to the Naples port and transfer to Rome.

Walk around St. Mark's Basilica, Doge's Palace, Bridge of Sighs and St. Mark’s Campanile, a replica of the original watchtower that collapsed in 1902. Visit a Venetian glass factory and be fascinated by a master glassblower’s demonstration. If time and weather permit, do not miss a gondola ride at your own expense. In the afternoon, head to Milan the fashion capital of Italy. Upon arrival, explore the city at your own leisure. Visit Duomo and the glass and steel Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the first building in Italy to be lit by electricity.
    Day 6: Milan - Lucerne (B/D)
    After breakfast, enjoy the scenic views of mountains and serene countryside as you journey on to the picturesque township of Lucerne, Switzerland. Next, take a walking tour to Chapel Bridge and Lion Monument. Then, spend the rest of the day at leisure to relax or shop for branded watches, famous Swiss chocolates and music boxes. Note: Overnight accommodation may not be in Lucerne.
    Day 7: Lucerne - Engelberg - Mt. Titlis - Lucerne (B)
    This morning, begin your tour with an excursion to Engelberg. From there, ascend Mt. Titlis by cable car. Enjoy the view of the central Swiss Alps and have fun on the snowfields. Return to Lucerne in the afternoon, and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Note: If Mt. Titlis is closed for maintenance, it will be substituted with another mountain excursion
    Day 8: Lucerne - Bern - Dijon (B/D)
    Today, embark on a scenic drive to Bern, the capital of Switzerland. Upon arrival at Bahnhofplatz, take a walking tour of the old town to view the beautiful fountains decorated with statues and the 16th-century astronomical Clock Tower with its many painted figures. On the same street stands house No. 49, once Albert Einstein’s home, where the great scientist wrote his Theory of Relativity in 1905. Not to be missed is a visit to the iconic bear pit, dedicated to the bear which is the protagonist of Bern’s coat of arms. Thereafter, transfer to Dijon where you will spend the night.
    Day 9: Dijon - Paris (B/L/D)
    This morning, continue to Paris, City of Lights. Upon arrival, embark on a city tour. Take in the sights of Napoleon’s Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees Boulevard and Place de la Concorde. View the famous Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral, one of the most magnificent masterpieces of Gothic architecture. Thereafter, visit Fragonard Perfumery, one of the largest perfumeries in France and a great place to purchase exclusive scents of France at affordable prices. Spend the rest of the day at leisure where you may do more shopping or visit the famous Palace of Versailles at your own expense.

    Today, spend the day at leisure to explore the city.

    It’s a change of pace amongst Switzerland’s massive picture perfect Alps. Opt to visit up one of the areas famous mountains while you're here, considered a must-do when you're in the area, it's the place to head up to the snow (even in summer) for some seriously spine-tingling views.
    Day 6: Swiss Alps to Paris (B/D)
    With down-time on the coach, plug in your MP3, chill out to some music and chat with friends while travelling through the scenic wine producing region of Burgundy. Tonight, the group kick starts Paris with the “Tour of Illuminations”, which shows off the French capital’s transformation into the 'City of Lights'. Lamp-lit bridges and cool little cafes give us a real taste of Paris’ romance. Your Tour Manager will fill you in on the world’s most recognised monuments, like the Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower.     Next up: Fragonard! This perfumery has an elegant interior and is a unique setting for a look into the history of perfume. It’s also a chance to pick up some French perfume at great prices. This town is loaded with possibilities. Discover its many bistros, museums, tree-lined avenues and diverse quartiers (neighbourhoods). Get a feel for French flair by window shopping on the Left Bank.     Your vacation starts with a pleasant flight to Istanbul, the only city built on two continents: Asia and Europe.
    Day 2: Istanbul - Canakkale (MOB/L/D)
    Upon arrival, commence on your sightseeing tour. Visit the Topkapi Palace - a palace during the Ottoman Empire, now a museum with a wide collection of Porcelains, Treasuries, etc. Next, we visit the Blue Mosque – the largest religious complexes in Istanbul. Take a stroll through the site of the ancient Hippodrome, once the sporting ground of chariots. See the Egyptian Obelisk, Serpentine Column and Ibrahim Pasa Palace that sits opposite. Proceed to St. Sophia Museum, a unique combination of Christianity and Islamic under one roof. After lunch, we depart Canakkale via Galipoli. Cross the Asia side of Turkey by ferry. Witness one of the war sites during the First World War. Drive to the Canakkale waterfront for a photo-stop of the Trojan Horse from the movie “Troy”.
    Day 3: Canakkale - Troy - Pergamon - Kusadasi (B/L/D)
    Today tour the mythical city of Troy - home of the “Trojan Horse”. Proceed on to the ancient city of Pergamon. Tour the Acropolis, an architectural masterpiece that is perched on the city’s highest point. After lunch, we will stop over at a Turkish Delight and Apple Tea Outlet in Kusadasi - a town on the Aegean Coast of Turkey.
    Day 4: Kusadasi - Selcuk - Pamukkale (B/L/D)
    Start the day with a fashion show featuring leather products made in Turkey. Visit the House of Virgin Mary, where she is believed to have spent her last year. Set off for Selcuk and explore Ephesus, one of the world’s most outstanding archaeological sites. Walk in its well-preserved marble streets to the Library of Celsius, The Odeon, Grand Theatre, Temple of Hadrian, Roman Bath, and etc. See the site of Temple of Artemis, which is one of the ancient Seven Wonders of the World. Continue to Pamukkale, visit the extensive ruins of Hierapolis and Necropolis - known for its thermal baths and health centre. Thereafter, explore Cotton Castle a magical and unique terraces created by deposits of white limestone from thermal springs.
    Day 5: Pamukkale - Konya - Cappadocia (B/L/D)
    Travel to Konya, the famous old capital city of Seljuk Turks in the 12th and 13th centuries. Visit an ancient caravanserai, a hotel for ancient traders and travelers. Next, visit the blue-green domed Melvana Museum, which used to be the cloister for Mevlevi Dervishes. Continue to Cappadocia.
    Day 6: Cappadocia (B/L/D)
    The unique landscape of Cappadocia evolved from the erosion of the ash sedimentation by wind, sun and rain, sculpting the land into countless strangely shaped pillars and cones. Start our day with the magnificent Valley of Fairy Chimneys, one of the most unique areas in Cappadocia. Be enchanted by the Underground City of Kaymakli, once a place of refuge for 15000 Christians. See their bedrooms, church, meeting hall and food storage rooms in this eight-storey city connected by 30km of corridors and passageways. Stop at Esentepe Hill for a bird’s eye view of Cappadocia, discover the history and tradition of Turkish carpets in a local carpet workshop. Following this, visit the Pigeon Valley and the fascinating frescoed rock churches and chapels at Goreme Open Air Museum. Photo stops will be made at Uchisar Castle Village, a fantasyland of strange and wonderful works of man and nature. Proceed to Avanos Pottery Village, set on the banks of the Kizilirmak. After that, visit to a semi-precious stone jewelry store.
    Day 7: Cappadocia – Ankara – Bolu (B/L/D)
    This morning, drives pass picturesque Salt Lake and arrive into Ankara – capital of Turkey. Our Ankara sightseeing highlights the magnificent Ataturk Mausoleum, constructed to commemorate Mustafa Kemal Ataturk – father of modern Turkey. Proceed to the enchanting town of Bolu for the night.
    Day 8: Bolu – Istanbul (B/L/D)
    Drive back to Istanbul. It’s shopping time at the 550 years old Grand Bazaar, which has more than 4000 shops selling local products. If time permits, why not join an optional cruise at own expense of the Bosphorus? Tonight, relax and enjoy a delightful dinner show featuring belly and folklore dance.
    Day 9: Istanbul - Departure (B)
