8D7N Beijing + Chengde Summer Family Fun

Assemble at Changi Airport for your flight to Beijing. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for accommodation.

Start the day by visiting Tiananmen Square. The Tiananmen Tower, Monument to the People's Heroes, Great Hall for the People and Mao Zedong Memorial Hall are the main sites on the Square. Take a view of newly-built National Theatre. Then proceed to the Forbidden City also known as Imperial Palace, once the home of emperors. Within the Forbidden City is the Imperial Palace. It is a remarkable complex of palaces and halls comprising 9,000 rooms. Next visit Tongrentang, a famous China traditional medicine shop with a-hundred-year history. After lunch, head for the Olympic Park which houses key venues such as the "Bird's Nest" National Stadium and the "Water Cube" National Aquatics Center. After an outlook of these two buildings, we will go to visit Science &Technology Hall.

Today’s highlight will surely be the Great Wall - one of mankind's greatest engineering achievements. First built during the spring and Autumn Period (770-467 BC), and extended from dynasty to dynasty, it meanders for some 6,400km, across mountains and valleys to keep the barbarians out and maintain the serenity of the "Middle Kingdom". Next take a visit for the Farm where you can enjoy plucking fruits at your own expense. After that, proceed to experience foot massage for relaxation.

After breakfast, visit the immaculate Summer Palace also known as Yiheyuan. This Imperial Garden covers an area of 290 hectares. Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake are the few beautiful sites in Summer Palace. Next visit Pearl Shop. After a view of the interesting Royal Shadow Puppy , we proceed to Youth Palace, another main base of youth education where kids can learn painting, music, dance & other CCA. Also you have chance to exchange learning experience with local students there. Next head for the world-renowned Tsinghai University for a visit of the campus.

After breakfast, coach to Chengde. Visit Chengde Imperial Summer Resort, the largest royal garden in China. The garden was built during the Qing Dynasty when the Qing Emperors used to go there frequently during summer to escape from the summer heat. Thereafter, travel back to Beijing. En route, make a visit to Huairou Movie Studio, where you may get some knowledge about the movie production.

This morning enjoy a Trishaw ride touring the Hutongs and local Siheyuan Houses where you will know more about the culture, history and lifestyle of old Beijing. Also learn how to make dumpling there. Then proceed to visit Tea House. Next stop is Beijing Zoo, which is one of the largest zoos in the world, where you will view the giant Panda.

Today, continue your tour to Shijingshan Theme Park .With different theme zones, landscapes, games and amusement, you may enjoy kinds of entertainments and facilities etc. All those heart-quaking experience will bring you into this colorful happy journey. Next visit Silk Show Room before enjoy your shopping spree at Yaxiu Market. After dinner sit back and watch the grand cultural show Golden Mask Dynasty (In case of any unforeseen circumstances, the Show will be replaced by Beijing Zhiye)

This morning proceed to Temple of Heaven, which was used for worshipping the heavens & prayer for good harvest by the Ming and Qing dynasty.
